Established in 1961, Inclusion Ireland is a national, rights-based advocacy organisation that works to promote the rights of people with an intellectual disability. Inclusion Ireland has been at the forefront of the disability rights movement for 60 years. We provide information to people, support people to advocate for themselves, influence policy and work towards societal change.

Inclusion Ireland’s work is underpinned by the values of dignity, inclusion, social justice, democracy and autonomy. We use the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) to guide our work.

Communications and Information Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of our communications strategy with the support of the CEO. He/she will report directly to the CEO and ensure we can influence change and policy through innovative communications and media campaigns as well as ensuring that that our members receive timely information in accessible formats.
Advocacy Project Workers (Dublin based & nationwide)
The successful candidates will be part of a national team and will:
- Contribute to policy formation within Inclusion Ireland.
- Have the ability to formulate and carry out research and community-based projects inclusive of and led by people with the lived experience of intellectual disabilities.
- To support people with an intellectual disability to advocate for themselves.
- Provide advice, guidance and training on advocacy to people with disabilities, families and professionals
- Provide information to people in accessible formats
- Work towards the full inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities in our community
