Inclusion Ireland is running events about people with intellectual disabilities speaking up about their rights in the media.

The events form part of a project Inclusion Ireland is doing to help self-advocates become spokespeople in the media and speak up on their rights.

This project is funded by the Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission.

 

What will this event be about?

Self-advocates from our Media and Rights Working Group will speak about how to make media more inclusive.

We want to hear from you on these topics too.

This event is for people with intellectual disabilities, people who work in media, and journalists.

When will this event be on?

This event will be on 27th October between 11:30am and 1:30pm

Where is this event on?

The event will be held at the Spencer Hotel, Excise Walk, IFSC, Dublin 1, Co. Dublin
