The EPSEN (Education for Persons with Special Education Needs) Act is being reviewed currently and the Department of Education have started a consultation.
Inclusion Ireland will host two sessions for family members who want to take part in the consultation and want more information first.
The session will:
– Explain what the EPSEN Act is.
– Talk about the parts of the Act which have not commenced yet.
– Talk about the challenges in inclusive education right now for children and what needs to change.
– Explain the consultation process and some of the questions on the survey.
