Inclusion Ireland Event: Access to Your Community

Join us to celebrate International Day of People with Disabilities at our event ‘Access to Your Community’.

People with an intellectual disability from all across Ireland will come together to share their experience of living and travelling in their community. The event is about what helps people access their community and the barriers people face trying to access their community or local amenities.

The event will take place on  Monday 4th of December in the Dargan Theatre in Trinity Business School from 11.00am to 3.00pm.

You can register online at this link: https://accesstoyourcommunity.eventbrite.ie

On the day we will also explore examples of good practice from city councils, transport services and initiatives that are making our communities more accessible. Participants and speakers will also reflect on ways accessibility within our communities can be made better.

The event will bring together people with an intellectual disability, supporters, transport companies, support services and officials.

The event will start at 11.00am and a light lunch will be provided for attendees.

Please let us know if you require any reasonable accommodations to attend the event.

This event is organised in association with the Trinity Centre for People with an Intellectual disability.

*Please note there will be photography and videography at this event. The images and videos will be used on Inclusion Ireland’s website and social media channels. Images may also be used in future Inclusion Ireland publications.
